In-the-hoop toys for the 5" x 7" hoop
Are you wanting to make a gift for a special occasion, but you are out of time? These little jewels of embroidery are exactly what you need. Not only are they quick to make but if stitched as they are without any embellishments, they are also safe for a small child to play with. Stitch them with polyester thread and they will be easy to care for.
Although these were inspired by the new arrival to this world of my niece, these little pals found friends for life as soon as they were off the machine. My kids and their friends have a ball playing with them. Because of their smaller size, they can actually bring these little pals wherever they go. If the kiddos are old enough to handle a needle, they can also get involved in embellishing them with trimmings, ribbons, buttons and crystals.
