This magnificient stocking when completed measures about 15" high. It is very easy and quickly done because only the front is freestanding lace. The backing is done with fabric. On the stocking displayed here... upholstery fabric was chosen for texture and body but fleece, denim, canvas or tapestry remnants would also be perfect in this instance.
