100% Cotton 30 weight Embroidery Heirloom Sewing Thread

5455m/6000yds cone

I managed to get my hands on "embroidery" 100% white cotton thread a bit of ecru and of black. It's supposed to be 50 weight but honestly when compared to the 40 weight poly most of us use, this cotton feels more like a 30 weight. but the texture... absolutely unbelievable!

I used it on Charlie's dress from the collection 4 Baby & U 02 - Shirley's Ayrshire that I've done on 100% cotton Victorian batiste...
toooooooooooooooo diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeee for...

The only down point is the unbelievable amount of lint it creates but I'm told it is unavoidable for 100% cotton, but truly it's well worth it AND it also means that we can actually use it on our 100% cotton english netting and dye the whole project whichever color we wish... too cool... and the price is AMAZING compared to how much cotton embroidery thread is normally sold!!
